Scholarship launch – support your professional development

WorkUP Queensland is excited to be launching our scholarship program for the domestic and family violence, sexual violence and women’s health and wellbeing workforce sector.

Scholarships to the value of $20,000 will be available towards fees for accredited training and higher education. Other study needs will be considered upon application.

We encourage applicants to explore the range of opportunities available, from those for frontline workers to managers. Please note that many post graduate courses recognise not only previous studies but also experience in the field. You may not need to hold a degree qualification to enrol. The courses outlined below are examples of these:

  • Graduate Certificate in Domestic and Family Violence Practice – Central Queensland University
  • Graduate Certificate in Domestic Violence – Queensland University of Technology
  • Graduate Certificate in Facilitating Men’s Behaviour Change – Central Queensland University
  • Graduate Certificate in Business (Interdisciplinary or Philanthropic and Non-Profit Studies) – Queensland University of Technology
  • Graduate Certificate in Criminology and Criminal Justice – Griffith University
  • Graduate Certificate in Public Health – Griffith University
  • Graduate Certificate in Governance and Management – Australian Catholic University
  • Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Trauma and Recovery Practice – University of Wollongong.
